After spending 3 years of my life on the island of Guam, I became incredibly attached to not only the beauty of the island itself, but also with the people who I created strong friendships with. It was only until after we moved that I realized that I did not appreciate it as much at the time and took it for granted.
I was a sophomore when my father announced that we were moving and we lived on the island since I was in the 7th grade. Throughout the first 2 years of being on the island, I fell in love.
