The life we live in the United States was far from imaginable when we lived in the Philippines. As I get to know the currency, cost of living, and even the way oh how people lived in this country, I started comparing it to the Philippines. In the United States, there are many opportunities that can be given to you even under poverty such as government housing and EBT in which the government gives you an allowance to be able to spend on groceries. One day, I would hope to become a lawyer in order to have a voice in the state legislative branch. My goal is to pass and support laws that will not just focus on a family’s classification but the welfare of these families. In addition, I would also like to put more attention at the education of the youth because I believe that the youth is the future of the world. I would not want another child feeling like the only thing keeping her away from his or her dream is money, which should not. Education brings our society to the world together and having knowledge will only create greater things. In addition, I believe that the only thing that cannot be stolen from a person is education and knowledge of the world. My goals do not end here.
