All of us all left to go to the airport at about 2PM, so we would have time to get there and get through security. We were not told that hour flight had been delayed for 5 hours! After we waited for hours, we eventually left Minneapolis Airport on June 5th, 2017. We flew to Orlando International Airport via Frontier Airlines, who I would also, not recommend. We flew for about 3 ½ hours, after being delayed. We had landed at about 12:30 A.M, June 6th, when we were suppose to land at about 8, they …show more content…
We immediately went to bed because of how early in the morning it was. The next morning, we went to IHOP, that was my first time being there, and I got an omelette and toast. Later on in the day, we walked out by the beach, because it was very close, about 100 yards away. A couple of days later, we were going to go deep sea fishing, the major reason we came. My cousin, Coty, had decided to join us as he works in Florida, testing electrical panels. All of us set off to Ponce Inlet, at about 5:30 A.M as we were leaving the dock at 6. We got onto the boat and headed off into the Atlantic Ocean, it was June, so it was very humid. When body surfing, you go out, not to far, as the wave could very easily push you down and possibly drown you. So you wait for wave, that is not too small, so it will push you to the beach. Once you find the wave, you turn around, so you are facing the beach, and once that wave is close enough, and you are partially on top of it, you jump forwards, towards the beach. You might go with the wave all the way to the shore, like you are suppose to! When I got my good wave, I jumped too early, and it pushed me. It pushed me down, to the bed of the ocean, in all of its riptide, and wave strength. My dad had told me before we went out, “ If the wave pushes you down, do not breathe.” I forgot what he told me and swallowed water. That wave beat me, and tossed me around like I was nothing! My uncle and dad told me that I flipped upside down, and they could see the bottom half of me. I got a lot of sand in my face, because once I hit the shore, I just ended up being pushed into the sand. I took some sand from the beach, and put it into a gallon freezer to give to
