*If your a Star Wars fan, odds are you have collection of toys and memorabilia. Some of you may know that when I learned about Death Star day, I took a rough estimate of what I've spent on Star Was in my life. The figure I came up with is in the five figure range. My test tent to lye with vintage material. It took me three years to find a reasonable priced bootleg of The Holiday Special. On another occasion, when episode I came out, I saw that one of the fast food restaurants that was promoting it, I think Burger King, had left the life-sized Amidala window sticker on the outside of the door rather that the inside. Recently there was a fan poll to decide on a new figure. This was our finest hour. We came out in great numbers supporting the lone EU name on the final list, Revan. After the March Madness fiasco we watch this poll closely, and sure enough there was funny business. The preliminary round was held on several different websites, but many of the leaders were the same, several EU characters most notably Mara Jade. When we got the final list all the EU leaders where gone save, Revan; and oddly enough there was a name that based upon the prior round of voting had no business making the final round, Sabine Wren. Now with only one lone EU character to vote for this galvanized the Rebellion. Revan quickly gained what appeared to be an insurmountable lead, Sabine was quickly left in the dust. On about the second day of voting something changed, Sabine made an impossible leap in the polls, surpassing Obi-Wan for second place. This huge leap name made it appear possible for her to overtake even Revan's massive lead. Then something else happened a LFL employee began campaigning for Sabine, no other characters were receiving any official
