As I was walking up to the desk to pay, my dad drove away. After I paid my six dollars to get in, I tried to walk in when somebody sitting on a chair requested to …show more content…
This time, keeping myself up was much easier. I almost kept up with everybody as we all swam to the concrete stairs. Even the second time around, I was unbelievably tired but decided to power through the steep, plentiful stairs. After even more strenuous activity and aforementioned embarassment, I finally reached our chairs. I sat down, took a swig of my now disgustingly warm water bottle and caught my breath.
By the time about half of the water bottle was gone, I decided it would be a good idea to check to make sure nobody stole anything. I looked down at the sand. Sand encrusted flip flops, check. “Okay, let’s see if I can swim.” I teased
We all started swimming toward the Saturn, a round raft with a ring around the middle. Suddenly, I wasn’t slower than everybody else. I was actually faster than a couple of people. After about five minutes of strong swimming later, we reached the Saturn. It was unlike any raft I had ever seen before. There was a ring around it that was parallel to the water with handles for you to pull yourself up with. Inside this ring was a hemisphere that had matching handles. We all tried to pull ourselves up with only a few out of the five of us succeeded. I was the second on. Dylan B. and I helped everybody else up and leaned back to relax when we heart a whistle
