Over the summer I went on a great vacation with my family. My entire family flew from Denver to Florida. We took a cruise from Florida to the Bahamas and back to Florida again. After the cruise our vacation continued at Universal Studios in Orlando Florida. It was a fun filled vacation and a great cruise filled with lots of fun activities. First things first, we flew to Florida from Denver Colorado. When we arrived in Florida, a limo was waiting to take us from the airport to the hotel we were staying at. We went to dinner and our way back we stopped at a store where me and my brother, Race brought a giant blow up alligator. We had to go down to the first floor then we got off and we were walking around all the shops trying to find a souvenir. I finally found a hand carved turtle that I really liked and bought. Then my stepdad said we had to get to the docks to get on a boat to go fishing. After a lot of walking we made it to the docks and a boat pulled up, we got in and started zooming away. After a while one of the boat guys started pulling these huge fishing rods out and setting them up. We were switching off so one person would get a catch and then they would switch with someone else. It was really fun and I caught a barracuda that was half the size of me! Then we headed back super-fast because we spent an hour longer out there than we should have. We were almost late and had to get on the boat and go to the other side of the cruise ship. We walked into this fancy restaurant it was crazy because even the waiters were dressed up. We checked out some of the shops and had lunch at a place called the Chocolate Emporium. It was really cool and most everything was made from chocolate. We all order the giant milkshakes, they really were giant. They were so big that nobody could finish them and they give you a to-go cup to take it with you! After lunch we went to check the pool out and it looked pretty good, so we went to go change in our swim suits. We swam around and played for a few hours in the pool before we headed out again. Our parents had another surprise for us, we were going to see the Blue Man Group. It was a really great show and was fun to watch all of the cool things they do. It is like an illusion and magic show all in one, but put to music. It was a lot of fun and I am glad we went to see it. The next morning we woke up early to go to universal studios. We were all really excited so we walked out and went to do the boats that transport people to the parks. We were going to Universal Studios and Harry Potter World and were super excited to get to do
