12 long years. 12 years of homework. 12 years of dreadful Monday mornings. 12 years of hard work has finally paid off. Hearing your name being called and everybody applauding has to be the greatest sound to flow through your ears ever. The important goal is to never lose your fight, your passion, your conviction, and your spirit. You will be successful and with diligence you will one day achieve all your goals. The important times to be valedictorian are high school and in college.”…

Every year we promised each other that we’d go away for reading week, but as the years went on none of us had the time or energy or money to go anywhere, we all just wanted to stay local, and sleep in the comfort of our hometown, Guelph.
