There were at least three- thousand people on the ship. When I got on it was so crowded I felt like it would tip if anyone made one wrong move. I went to were I would sleep and it was even more crowded if that could happen. They smell was so bad. They gave us poor food so at night some of us went up and got the food that was in the trash. The second day was the same but I had to get away from some people I went and stood and looked in the ocean thinking about our life in America. I was walking back to were I stayed and there were people that was walking in to things and some were lying limp. When I got back to where the third class stayed which was the bottom of the ship there were people still sleeping. I wished I was with my family but I knew this was the best for my child and I. One week has past and I cant wait to get their and see my new home. I tried to stay away from everyone so I would know that I don't get no diseases from nobody. The smell is getting worse and its like the boats brown paint is coming off trying to get away from the smell also. When they called my name I had to go up some stairs and they watched me to see if I was sick. There were so many people on the stairs and some were hardly walking and some was walking fast. I was so terrified because if they said I had something than I had to go back. It would be bad if I had to go back because I already gave my house to a mom and her kids. I had to go through the Great Hall and it was huge I mean it was amazing. I had to wait for like a hour and a half and I was so hungry. They finally called be back and asked me how old I was, where I came from what was my name, if I felt sick and when I told them all of that they sent me to a doctor and they checked me out for any illness or diseases. I took a minute because they had many many more people to check. Than a woman walked to me and asked if I wanted some bread and milk and I said yes. They told me to go to the right stair well and pack up my stuff. While I was walking they had a lady and a man and they were hugging and crying and I saw that the lady had chalk on her forehead.
