We all do stupid things when we are young, whether it’s sneaking out or picking a fight for no good reason; but what I did, was something that nearly cost me my life. Just a few days ago I was at my friend Kyle’s house, there was also our friends Alex and Jarod. After we finished hanging out I realized why racing can be a terrible idea. I was the first that had to leave since it had been pretty late, but as i got up Jarod chose he should go home as well, and with both of us leaving Alex decided to go with Jarod to Taco bell. I just had to go get some gas but as I was leaving i saw Jarod speed up past me before leaving the neighborhood, seeing that quick flash of white as his car passed me gave me a bit of a jump.…

Hate is a four letter word, but this word has a big weight on people’s feelings. When someone does something bad to you, and if it is bad enough, you cannot forget them for a long time and sometimes even for the rest of your life. It is up to every person to decide what course of action they are going to take after an incident between them and someone else. The phrase “forgive and forget” is not found in the Bible, but there are many verses instructing us to “forgive one another” (e.g. Matthew 6:14 and Ephesians 4:32). Sometimes, acting on impulse can have serious consequences and can mark you for the rest of your existence.…
