Dreams come true

I slowly waddled out of my bed and looked around to make sure I was still in my room. I always seem to wake up startled and frankly, a bit panicked after one of my adventurous dreams. Though I can say this one was different. It was a spur of mixed emotions and what seemed to be the realest dream i 've yet come to experience. It all started out one night, right before midnight. It was a tall male student around my age, he looked strangely familiar. It turned out he also had a bike and had parked it next to mine. We made minimal eye contact and as he as he rode off into the dark road, I felt this strange shock too my chest. All I could see was darkness, I was suddenly back in my room. I looked next to me and found my phone splattered into a thousand pieces. I had lost all my memories, photos, and data in a matter of seconds. I got a feeling of hopelessness and then suddenly my house was on fire. I managed to open my window but i couldn 't jump off since i was on the second …show more content…
It turns out he was real, and every time i feel confused, hopeless, or like my house is on fire, he’s always been there too the rescue me from every situation. In realization since the day I met him I get that sudden shock feeling every time. What really made me see that this dream was more than a dream was when my phone shattered. If I ever broke something i would feel that feeling like when i broke my phone. Then again who’s to say it wasn 't all the films I had squeezed into a couple hours that made me have that crazy dream. At the end of it i still wish i could have learned how to make chocolate in class and realized i have a shadow that i am very grateful

After reading and carefully considering which lucid dream technique to try in order to complete this assignment, I ultimately chose to work with the Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dreaming or MILD created by Stephen LaBerge. In order to fully complete this lucid dream technique, I started on Monday, November 21st knowing I did not have to wake up early to go to school or get up and go to work. This gave me the ability to sleep in and focus on the technique without having to worry about whether or not I needed to be awake at a certain time and possibly forget what I was dreaming about. Before going to bed Monday night, I placed my dream journal and a pen right beside me on my nightstand that way I was ready and able to jot down notes from my dream when I woke up in the morning. When I woke up the next morning, I immediately wrote down in my dream journal what occurred in my dream.…
