Personal Narrative: Dollar Bill

Improved Essays
The name is Bill… Dollar Bill… I survive daily in the wallet of the person whom owns me. There were others, but they were kidnapped and forced in the unforgiving environment called “Society.” This place was unknown by us currency folks, but that is until it was my turn to be cast out… I heard my wallet’s owner rise from its resting place as usual. It then got prepared to go to wherever its destination may be. Normal routine thus far, but once we arrived to wherever the owner’s interests lie, I felt something humongous clutching my home. It was then I was blinded by the outside world. There was no time for a reaction prior to being grasped and pried from the place I lived. Once I had my vision, I knew immediately where I was… Society.
