It's not like a “Man, i wish i could go back and fix that” redo, but more like a “Gosh, it would be great to go back” redo. Let me explain to you why elementary school would be my one time do-over. For one,I was care-free in elementary, mainly because I barely had homework, and when I did it was only a crossword puzzle or something. Being a high school student is composed of restless nights, and eight exhausting hours of classes in which you are obligated to stay awake in. A normal school day begins with me snoozing my alarm about ten times before my dad walks into my room telling me the dreaded “time to get up for school” reminder which I just take as a suggestion. Normally I will drag myself into the bathroom about ten minutes later to begin my routine. I spend about 40 minutes in the bathroom preparing myself for school and by the time I am done it is usually time to grab all of my things and barely catch the bus. Now this has to be my least favorite part of the day.…

I was born in San Francisco California and lived there for about nine years. During my time there, I was clueless about why I was born onto this world but to eat hot cheetos and play yu-gi-oh cards. After nine years of living in San Francisco, my parents thought moving to Millbrae would be the best way to provide their children with the best education. However, transferring to a new elementary was a rough transition for me because the kids in my new school didn’t like yu-gi-oh and hot cheetos, their lives revolved around playing sports. Everyday after school I would come home looking very depressed, so my parents decided to sign me up for sports like basketball, football, and swimming.…

Prompt #5 Thinking back on elementary school I can recall learning new things had been simple, almost effortless for me. I went to a catholic school that was kindergarten through eighth grade, and the classes were all pretty small. I glided through all the grades from kindergarten all the way up through fourth grade with no difficulty. That year following fourth grade though, was the by far the hardest year I’ve had to get through in my 16 years of life. Everything changed for me and my family and my life went from fairly easy, to dealing with the many new obstacles and challenges I was going to soon face.…

Elementary School can be a tough and weird time for any new Kindergarten student, due to the fresh new environment reminiscent to nothing you have every seen before, like full white classrooms filled to the brim with young, smelly, and weird kids you have never seen before, teachers who remind you of weird relatives or neighbors, and the new feeling of uneasiness that comes over your petite little body as you timidly sit down in a prison like asylum in which you are expected to learn day in and day out. Minus the occasional nap time, recess, and hanging out with all your new pals, school was just not as fun as being at home doing whatever you pleased. And do not get me wrong I personally loved school back then because it was a chance for me…
