I stepped out of the car and instantly adapted to the environment around me. Tall grass, luscious trees, and a glistening pond exemplified the beauty of the course. As I walked to the first tee pad, Dylan made sure to inform me about everything I needed to know about the game, how it is played, who throws first, and other proper edicate techniques only an experienced Disc Golf player would know. He proceeded to talk himself up, as I stood by and took mental notes of his feet position and arm angle. For a split second I had looked away and missed the throw, now I was stuck. Slowly but surely I made my way onto the cement tee pad and anticipated Dylan's input for advice, but it never came. Confused, I proceeded to think about my shot and where I wanted to put the disc. Thanks to my peripheral vision, I adjusted my shot accordingly to avoid the burly pond twenty feet off to the left. Confidence took over and I took my shot. The disc soared in a straight line which eventually evolved into a right to left flight pattern landing around two hundred feet away from the hole. Walking up to my shot gave me a sense of feeling I did not feel very often,
