Personal Narrative: Delta Sigma Theta Inc.

I would have to say that Ms. Ernestine Dawson who is apart is Delta Sigma Theta Inc. has made an impact on my life. I have been alive now for about 18 years and my parents have introduced me to many people. People who want to know all about my life. People who want to help me live my life. Then there were other people who didn't really seem to care much about me. The thing is that in my 18 years of life I have met a lot of people. Most of whom I have met because of my parents. I met Ms. Ernestine through my mom earlier this year. See the thing is I inadvertently met her years ago when she worked for my mom. She is the reason I would get to practice on time, have the right doctors appointments, and make it to school field trips. All those things …show more content…
Ms. Ernestine is the type of person that gives me advice and makes me feel all great about myself but then gives me a reality check. Those reality checks vary from what major to have in college to how I am to respect my parents. She does not have to put so much time and effort into me but she does out of the kindness of her heart. Because she sees something in me that I can not see in myself. Throughout my whole life people have always said that I will succeed. Countless individuals who see a glimpse of my life and tell me that because of what they've seen they know I'll do great things. Ms. Ernestine has not just been here for a glimpse but for years of my life. She has heard my struggles and knows me at my best due to my mom. No matter what although I may have only known her for so long she is there for me. While I am in Tennessee next year I know she'll come visit me and make sure that I am doing well. The impact she has had on my life is not one that many have. The impact expands past just being nice to me because of my parents. Yet, her actually taking an interest in my life to make sure I succeed and rise to my highest
