Personal Narrative: Cyberbullying In High School

Rumors spread rapidly around school through seventh and eighth grade; however, in eighth grade the rumors began to become worse and worse. I was constantly put down in school and called different names such as a worthless, stupid, fat, ugly, etc. Countless days were spent in the counseling office crying during my time in middle school and if I wasn’t in the counseling office, I would hide in the girl’s bathroom. The field hockey team I was on at the school and the news broadcasting team, I quit. I began losing interest in the things I once loved and I became very miserable at school and home.
