Personal Narrative: Communication Boundaries

The most important word a life coach can learn is “No”. Shelly may have the impression that a boundary may not exist. Shelly should have been advised of number of contacts per day regardless of the method. I would meet with Shelly and revisit set boundaries for communication. Shelly may not know that she have crossed this communication boundary. I would advise Shelly only one method of communication is accurate per day. I will remind her of the 24-48 hour response. Shelly needs to know if she is in a dangerous situation she needs to notify the approiate authorities like police, fire, and ambulance. It is also possible that Shelly may have misinterpret a casual conversation for a possible friendship.
