Personal Narrative-Coastal Aquatics Swim Team

Ever since I was nine-years old, I have been competing on the swim team. When I had first started, it was just a way to pass the time, something to help me lose some weight. I was not that great nor passionate about the sport. I wanted to be a good swimmer but I felt like none of my coaches cared at the time, so I had a hard time caring as well. Later down the road, my parents asked me if I wanted to keep swimming or not. I did not know how to answer, so I just simply told them, “I don’t know”. My parents decided that it was time to make a new start, so they called another swim team called “Coastal Aquatics Swim Team” and signed me up. I then left my old team and joined CAST.
