Choosing to go into healthcare was not a hard decision for me to make. Ever since my freshman year of high school, I had set plans to do so. Reflecting to what made me make this decision was very easy. This would be having the experience of being in Nation Wild Children’s Hospital a lot when I was younger. An important thing that was wrong with me was having a heart defect. This heart defect is called Atrial Septal Defect which was hole in the heart. I had to have open heart surgery done to repair it. Another thing is having brown spots all over my skin which is called Neurofibromatosis. For my condition with Neurofibromatosis, I have struggled throughout my school years with having to try harder to do my best because nothing really came easy
