I have to get out of the house I can’t take it anymore. The abuse really pushed me over the edge this time. That whore can hit me all she wants but, as soon as she put a finger on my little brother Sam, I have to leave. I pick him up and run outside I whisper “We’re gonna go for a ride now okay.” “Okay,” He says rolling around in the backseat. I hop in the front seat and start up the rustbucket just as my mom runs out screaming at me yelling an incoherent rant. I tear out of the driveway just as she gets to the driver side door. As we drive down the street out of the neighborhood my brother speaks “ I want ice cream.” I pull out my wallet while we’re sitting at a red light I look into it and see a 20 dollar bill. We slowly pull up to the rather creepy ice cream shop it seemed barely useable. My brother and I step out of the car. We hurriedly get inside there is a middle-aged man with a short beard staring at me from behind the counter. I start up the car and hear the familiar growl of the engine as we drive out of the parking lot and back home. As we drive I find my eyes drifting back to the broken rear view mirror. We wait at the same stoplight pass the same ice cream shop it’s always the same. We finally arrive home my brother gets himself out of the car and we head for the front door of the house we open it and hear nothing. No screaming nothing just silence. My brother walks in and lays down on the couch. I sit next to him and look at our old TV. “What do you want to watch,” I question?
“Iron Man.”
“Really, again.”
“Yeah Iron Man because he shoots the lasers at the bad guys.”
“Okay, fine Iron Man it is.” I stand up and walk toward the small collection of DVDs placed next to the TV. I search for a few moments and, eventually find the movie. “I got it.”
“Yay,” my brother exclaims!
“Alright,” I say putting the movie in. “Okay enjoy the show I’m gonna take a quick nap.” I lay down on a couch next near my brother’s as the movie begins to play. I wake up to my brother shaking me vigorously.
“Wake up wake up.”

Auggie my brother was walking through the huge, giant pine trees and tripped over this unusual giant bump in the ground and he fell into this dip, he got up and kicked the bump and he realized that it wasn’t a real bump in the ground it was some sort of capsule. Auggie then picked it up and inspected it because it was still quite unusual to see some sort of capsule on the ground. He found a button on the bottom and he pushed it. It didn’t do anything so he set it down and kept walking through the forest. I was at least thirty-five feet away from him and when he left the capsule, it opened and a bright light covered my eyes as steam came out.…
