Life changes happen mostly based on the choices made by a certain individual. Whether or not it happens to be toward other people or if it has something to do with things out of our control. Many things that have happened are not necessarily for the best. Those who do not work are given money to survive by the government. Although on the other hand we have veterans in the streets homeless and without food. The society I grew up in is worse than the one my grandparents grew up in. We all hope that the generations after us will actually change the future of America. Fear lives those that do not understand. My generation was unorganized and wrecked with almost no help of getting out. The years fly bye but the earth is being destroyed and the government is taking over. The right to bear arms is becoming less and less as the gun laws rise. The rights made up by those who were once great and mighty are very slim. The president is sly and lies to the people. Life has changed as we know it and not so much for the better. The unfortunate part for us as Americans is there is almost nothing we can do about it. The country is being taken over by everything made in China. The people fear that someday they will take all of America

People are being laid off left and right. It seems no one can keep a job for more than a few months without something crashing. America is being devastated by mass earth quakes tsunamis and people that can’t take care of themselves. The country is falling more and more in debt and the only ones that can stop it are making it worse. I have had my fair share of being irritated with the decisions not only of the people of America but also those in congress. Laws are being passed that god alone would cringe at. The country of the peace is no more. There are terrorists flooding the streets. The sky bleeds red on the nights they sky is no longer

America’s future vison is continually changing. It appears that regardless of the ideas one sets for America it is never followed through. George Washington, one of America’s first great leaders and presidents, warned the young nation not to allow factions, such as political parties and foreign affairs to take part in United States. My vison for America is that we once again regain a clean slate by paying off foreign debts, allow more advanced teachings in schools, and reducing waste and pollutants. The foreign debt America has gained, in today’s day and age, is the highest it has ever been.…

Over the past 40 years, America has experienced a tumultuous economic life. There have been various recessions and a few booms, and all presidential candidates since the 1980s have increasingly relied on the economy as a key part of their policy. The economy has been kind to the few and for the most part, unforgiving towards everyone else. This phenomenon is a result of politicians promising to make the normal American’s financial status better before being elected, then only helping out the corporate interests that funded their campaign after the election. The reason this works is that while the candidates forsake the American people, they do help the corporate interests once they take power, and the corporations make obscene profits which results in the President looking somewhat responsible for the huge increase in revenue which secures his reelection and the interests of the corporations until the next election cycle.…

Party Discontent at Cal Maritime and Nationally America is supposed to be the great democratic experiment. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness guiding the purpose of government. In the past, Americans have prided themselves in living in one of the most unified countries in the world but lately it seems as if Americans are bitter and afraid. Our economy has been stagnant leaving many workers feeling desperate and insecure. Instead of coming together Americans have moved farther apart due to the inequality between the rich and the poor, racial tensions and political polarization. Political leaders have consistently broken promises they make to the people leading to even more distrust by the American people and is most likely the reason a man like Donald Trump was able to become president. Through all of these problems it seems as if politics has failed us and is not fixing anything.…

Throughout the years many things have happened to shape how our society sees things. Also how technology has changed not only in improvements but also for every aspect of human life. It is crazy how many major events have changed the world mentally and physically. Many of the bad situations we have dealt with come from someone who was raised a certain way with a certain opinion and will not change for the life of themselves. What is sad, is the fact that the things that started many of our now big problems was something as simple as slavery.…

So it is clear that although America is the land of the free, a freedom to do what each person desires, America is becoming a nation of idiots, run by idiots for two main reasons. First, people prefer to be ignorant. But more importantly, society is wasting it's time with unimportant achievements, which is leading to a broken country that is falling from its long held position as the greatest country in the world. In addition, if the foundations of this country is damaged the rest of the country is going to be defective. This defectiveness will make everything crumble down at any second.…

Vast majority of the United States populations would deny that Americans are fulfilling prophecies written nearly 1,945 years ago (Slick, par.1) which are predicting America's fate. These prophecies foreshadowed America’s many wars, pestilences, diseases, and calamities; furthermore, the cosmos will be turbulent. Men will turn their backs to God and deny Him just as they claim to be prophets of his teachings. Nations will become perverse in their actions to allow sexual pleasures and worshippers of themselves and their possessions. Lastly, it is written in revelations that technology will allow for global communications.…

I think through the last decade the winds have changed in the United States and our core values that have defined us as a nation have started to gradually degenerate. With not only the huge government bailouts, complete overhaul of our health care system, major supreme court rulings and our very candidates for presidency have reflected the direction we are headed as a country. If the United States could begin accessing the actual needs of the people in our nation instead of political agendas or their own personal gain in our progressively selfish society, we may actually improve as a country. We are told The need to find once particular demographic of people or implement foreign policies to secure jobs All in all, we are divided as a nation in more ways than ever before and the dependency on the government to act as each and every person’s caretaker may slowly shift us farther and farther from a capitalistic and free…
