Personal Narrative: Changing My Hair

Change comes in many forms. Some change happens to us, while some happens because of us. Either way, I like it. All my life I presume that I’ve always liked to change things.As a child, I got bored really quickly.But it wasn't until recently I realized I have matured .Some days , I wear dresses with pretty flats. Most days I like to wear some jeans and Converse. Aside from clothing, I also like to change my personality and thoughts frequently. It may have to do with my short attention span and following trends but maybe not.My reason may change tomorrow. One fact won’t change, through: I am altering The realization of me altering mentally and physically was when I decided to shave my head.Not only changing my physical appearance, but my former opinions.Kids are often put into cookie cutter roles by society.For example:girls should have long hair and boys should have short hair. Guys play with action figures and girls like dolls.Obviously, all of us live in 2017 where all gender and race rules are being broken.Although shaving my head showed a big statement, I didn't care that most girls wore long hair.I cared that going through a change that would benefit me in the future.Growing my hair to be healthy and having the maturity by doing a big change in life.
