Personal Narrative: Changing Decisions Regarding My Plans After My Graduate

As a senior in high school, I am forced to face many difficult life altering decisions regarding my plans after I graduate. Most of these choices include: what college I will attend, what scholarships I will receive, what I will major in, and many others. There was no way I was going to be able to make rational and realistic decisions on my own, so with the help of my parents and many hours spent on the computer researching my options I am now finally able to say I have a solid plan for when I graduate. In the fall of twenty-seventeen I plan to be starting my fist semester as a college student attending Grand Canyon University studying to receive my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. During the summer before school starts, I will be on the hunt with my mom in search of many decorations and necessities for my soon to be dorm room. My roommates and I love talking and collaborating our ideas for what the room will look like, we all hope it will become the hangout place …show more content…
Not only do they make you pay for the schooling but most places even make you pay to just apply, not knowing 100% you will even be accepted. The college board website I visited during my research gave me a breakdown on what exactly I was going to need to spend my money on in order to afford college. To go along with the expenses of education, when visited the scholarship websites I was amazed to learn just how much money is out there in the open thats up for grabs. All I would have to do is write a 500 word essay about my life and I am automatic entered not the drawing for a $5,000 scholarship that I could use towards my tuition, room and board, or even just my textbooks. After I am actually in college the practice tests I found online are going to be very helpful in the first few weeks just so I can learn how to take the tests and I will better know what to expect when the time comes to take a real
