Cattle catastrophes
After a whole disastrous string of events containing many visits to the emergency room, an unrepaired broken tooth, life changing tragedy, and many legal issues that prevented me from staying at my own school, I journeyed to a new tiny school in the trash can of Los Angeles called Summit View West. Confused, overly optimistic, and determined to start a new, I did my best to start a new reputation; unlike my old one: “That Gay Awkward Weirdo”. Because I had Hung out with Jessica (The Nose Picker), Danni (The Sl**), Sarah (The Autistic Girl), and Bella (The Stalker), it didn’t help my situation. However low that placed me on the social food chain, I quite enjoyed my friends. Also, not until my 3rd year as a sophomore did I realize that I really enjoy being “That Gay Awkward Weirdo”. In fact I hoped to marry a “Gay Awkward Weirdo” just like me someday. We would’ve talked about all the wrong things at the wrong times, laughed a little too loud about a rock shaped like a butt, and sung the all wrong lyrics to 80s songs no one has ever heard of. This is how I saw it on my journey to Summit View West. A separation between the Nose Pickers and Laugh Farters considered “Losers”, and the Brain Dead Teenagers who were blind and deaf due to the fact that both their eyes and their ears seemed to be glued to their phones, were the popular kids, and somewhere in between there, were the cliques based mostly on personality.
