It was another boring day at Carmel Middle School, Teachers teaching, students learning, messing around, talking, and basically any other thing that happens on a normal boring day of school was happening today. That is, until me, and a group of my friends discovered the dark secret behind Carmel Middle school. I’ll tell you that story, but first, let me introduce you to Carmel middle. The school sits directly in the middle of Carmel Indiana, a small suburb of Indianapolis, This is the kind place that was voted best place to live in Indiana, here, crime rates are small, but people's wallets are big, Carmel is the kind of place that you would never suspect what is truly going on, in a place like Carmel nobody would have ever thought this would …show more content…
Mr. Hurley (the lunch monitor) finally dismissed us to go to up to the line and get our food, this is the first time we realized something was up, the food. That day's lunch was corn dogs, the meat was so utterly disgusting that most kids just peeled off the buttermilk breading like a band- aid and ate that instead of the meat. Like all 7th grade boys, my friends and I are a little immature, we sometimes play with our food, so us being us I started cutting up, bending, and smashing my corndog. When I had finished mutilating the corndog I found a small piece of metal about 1 centimeter by 1 centimeter, so little you could only find it by chance. I found the metal alarming and wanted to see if it was only mine and to everyone's surprise it was in every single corndog in the entire lunchroom. This finding alarmed tons of people, but none more than my table, this small discovery led to us finding out the dark secret behind Carmel Middle …show more content…
We all put our heads together but we couldn't find anything, we stayed up for hours, researched it online, asked people, and nothing came up not even a hint of information. Everyone was getting tired, it was around 2:30 am and we were about to give up and then, it happened. My friend Riley accidentally stepped on one of the balls, at first we were all mad and thought he had ruined it, however, he actually may have saved the whole school. The ball broke open and released what sounded like jibberish “lemraC lortnoc eW” “lemraC lortnoc eW” “lemraC lortnoc eW”, we had no idea what it was saying, but whatever it was it was easily one of the scariest things we all had ever heard. At that moment we all simultaneously realized that we had gotten ourselves into an even bigger mess than we thought, we realized that we would be putting our lives at risk, but we also realized that what's the point of living if you don't take risks, so we all agreed we would get to the bottom of whatever it is. Our first goal was that we wanted to find out what the sound that came out of the ball meant. I looked it up online, Trevor tried to figure it out with paper and pencil, and the rest tried other ways. It was about 5:00 am and we were exhausted, but we continued to look for what it meant. I was dozing off when I came across a

The first thing I noticed when I walked into Jasmine Middle School was how big the eighth graders were. I knew that in middle school the sixth graders would be the babies, but it was still kind of a shock at how big eighth graders really were; well, at least I hoped the kids I was looking at were eighth graders. If the group of kids hanging out by the lockers were seventh graders, then eighth graders must be huge. Luckily, after looking around for a few seconds, I spotted my best friend, Georgina Larson by the water fountain. She’s never hard to find, because her hair is light blonde, and she’s always wearing really flashy outfits.…

As I was walking in the hallway to Ms. Johnson’s room, I saw someone standing there that did not recognize that much. Welp, I hope it’s a good sub and not one who just yells at us or sleeps. As soon as I finished my Do Now, I heard someone on the intercom, “In one moment we will start an intruder drill.…

Monday was a toilet paper disaster, Tuesday was the icky sticky egg scramble, and Wednesday was the day when our precious mascot was smuggled off campus. That was not the end, some reckless vandal decided to give the grass a fresh bald haircut on Thursday. The big game on Friday was cancelled due to the disappearance of grass, and the newly remodeled gym was covered in a fog that smelled like a spray paint. Westboro High was not just any school, but it was a respected and highly selective boarding school for the gifted. No kid dared to slip up in fear of ruining their chances of being re-selected the following year.…

In the seventh grade, I faced a large transition in life. The previous year I had experienced middle school for the first time, but I would make that entrance again. I moved from Texas to North Dakota, where seventh grade was the first year of middle school. I took on those same fears and hopes that I had faced before, but in an unfamiliar place where I had no one except for family to give me support. I tried a lot of new things that year, mainly wrestling.…

It’s the middle of class and school is about to end but something doesn’t seem right. Everyone in the room, including the teacher start to have nose bleeds and that’s when I knew that they were empty minded humans that only say the word “brains”. I grabbed my backpack and ran downstairs to the basement. My school wasn’t built for the use of students but for the use of soldiers because it was used as a bomb shelter for citizens to use as a hideout in case there was a war happening.…

It was 1995 and I was 7 years old. Easter was in 4 days, and the only cause for celebration was that my teacher was walking around my first-grade classroom handing out bags of candy. I searched through mine, and held up a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup for my neighbor, Becky, to see. She smiled knowingly, and passed me a Crunch bar. “I can’t believe you don’t like peanut butter, Katy.”…

Throughout my short life, there was a time, in a middle school, I ran away from reality and jumped into the rivers of books and computers games. Back in the place where I lived, some people often called the schools “children’s forest of education” but the most frustrating thing was, not the school itself but, people who go to school. With the forest behind me where sunlight is shrouded by fog and arch-trees, I let the flowing liquid of water hailed over my body and mind just so that I could dodge all of my problems. But didn’t notice that the night cold water paralysed my feelings while everything got worse. I thought the stories from fantasy novels and computer games were filling my lost emotions.…
