Sitting in the cafeteria listening to the high school teacher talk about “career-path classes”, a lightbulb went off in my mind; I wanted to pursue a career in the health profession. However, when I moved to another high school, those “career-path classes” were nonexistent. I had to make my new opportunities. With a friend, we decided to start a new club called HOSA, Health Care Occupations for Students of America. Little did we know, starting an organization was going to be that hard.
