Personal Narrative: Can I Get A Bully

Improved Essays

I was just only in elementary school being bullied by a guy who is probably older than me. They bullied me for being hort and other things. Was it fair? No, It wasn’t at all…
It all started when they came up to me during recess and pushed me. I had no idea what was happening. He started messing around with me. “What now huh?” is what I remember him saying. He had me cornered with 4 of his “friends” surrounding me. I was scared and I thought I’d get beat up, they didn’t beat me up but they kept pushing me as if I was a toy to them.
I didn’t like it. But luckily

When I was younger, probably in elementary school, I was bullied all the time. People I knew would bully me, people I didn't know would bully me. They would ignore me and call me horrible names like ugly and stupid. I would just ignore them and walk away acting like I didn't care, but deep down inside I was crying a waterfall of tears. My mom never knew about it, not that she didn’t care or anything, but I didn’t tell her.…

The time I was a mean girl– it’s a story that I’m both proud and ashamed to tell. Proud because it shows how much I’ve grown since the third grade, but ashamed because it reminds me that I was Regina George in the body of a little girl. The mess began with Gabrielle Fisher. She was everything I wasn’t. The girl was from New York and seemed exotic to everyone in my class, including myself.…

There are a lot of instances where I have been hurt. Sometimes I was hurt emotionally, and sometimes when I was hurt physically. For me, it was not as serious as it could have been, unlike others who have experienced more physical or harsher verbal abuse by the bully. Fortunately, I was able to conquer my fears of going out and became more outgoing and did not let anything hold me back, whether I was playing sports or at work or just out with friends. Life is too short to be in constant fear or worry. When I got to high school I thought things were going to get worse, but because I was able to overcome, I achieved many of the goals that I strove to reach for like: getting high-honors all four years, winning two-state titles as a three-year starter in baseball, and making memories with friends that accepted me for who I am. In the end I do not regret anything and I believe that with the right support from family and friends anyone can learn to ignore the hate and strive to achieve anything they set their mind…

C1. In this case, though no particular motives are given for the anonymous students to be bullying Larry, there are a few possible reasons why they could be doing so. The students perhaps have a grudge against Larry or dislike him and want to insult him for whatever reason by leaving his email and posting false statements and even cartoons about him (though I think insulting someone with the name of a group of people who have a different sexual orientation isn't very clever). Now as for forwarding the email with the link to the site to other friends, perhaps I wanted to hear their opinions on the site and (hopefully not, as it would make me a terrible person) try to get my friends in trouble (on second thought, no real friend would do that!).…
