A little background: The oldest you can be as a camper is 15 years old. but the thing is that their can only be four 15 year olds and they are the leaders of the four camp teams: Iroquois, Navajo, Chippewa, and Apache. These 15 year olds are in charge of “drafting” the camp kids throughout the summer onto their respected team to compete in competitions and races for points to “win” the summer. This is 100 percent false. I spend almost everyday after school working on my homework and reviewing all the material we went over in class. My grades aren't the best and I feel like they don't reflect on the effort I put into everything. Sometimes my friends will make fun of me for having a C in a class but it motivates me to bring that up. It’s Hard seeing my grades not moving up since freshman year even though I have put in all my effort throughout my three years at GBN. Looking at Naviance the past couple of months and looking at what I would theoretically need to have to get accepted is kind of rough because of my poor grades. It once again makes me work even harder and take less breaks while studying. I would like to help the incoming freshman realize that every year counts and will help them get into their dream
