Personal Narrative: Breaker Nurse

This week I had the opportunity to work with Paula, who was a breaker nurse. Since she was breaking, I had a chance to work with the men and women side. To be honest, I felt more comfortable being on the women's side. In fact, I was actually not nervous being on the floor that I felt comfortable joining a bracelet activity where I bonded with Mele and John. I thought it was a calming activity where all your worries seem to disappear and all you think about is what color to choose next. Even though this activity was not nursing related, I thought this was great for anxiety management and find it therapeutic for patients.
