Personal Narrative: Brandon

One day a few years ago my old buddy Brandon and I were hanging out with my cousin Edward. Then I got a text from a girl named Ashley, she had just gotten to my buddy Eric’s place, Chad and I also lived there at the time just a little apartment on the second floor. Well Ashley wanted to drink with me, o Brandon and I headed to my place. So Brandon and I show up and Eric, Ashley and Chad are drinking already so Brandon and I join in, I turn on some music, we were drinking, chit chatting just hanging out then, Ashley drug me to my room…. then I came back out to the living room while Ashley stayed in my room. Chad and I let them fight it out for minute. We figured then would stop soon, well they didn’t. So Chad and I trying pulling Eric off of Brandon but Eric is a big guy so, I put my arm around his neck from behind to try and pull him off. He reached towards me and broke my chain. Eric was still on top on Brandon so, I started kicking him in the face. We finally got Eric off Brandon but Brandon wouldn’t stop punching him, so Chad yelled at Brandon while grabbing him and drunk stumbled into the window. I then pulled them in and broke them up so everyone would stop fighting. I go into my room to try to wake up Ashley and tell her she needed to leave. I return to the living room and Brandon is picking up glass and holding his side because a piece glass went into his side. If it would of went a half inch further, it would have punctured his lung. I’m the only one in good enough shape to open the door….so I answer the door and there stood two cops and the landlord. One of the cops called dispatch to let them know there was blood everywhere and to send an ambulance, they us all sit down and I had to tell them Ashley was in my room. The cops tried waking her up but she wouldn’t. I thought she was fine… I was just in there and she was moving, the EMT took her right away. Little did I know she was dead. They also took Brandon to the hospital. The cops arrested Eric and Chad. I was the only one who didn’t go to jail or the hospital that day but I had to tell Ashley and Brandon’s parents about what happened. Everything was a wreck after
