The airport was the worst part of the trip. It was so loud I couldn’t hear the person next to me. On top of that, I kept getting bumped into left and right, it was that crowded. Once we were finally on the plane things calmed down some what.…
1. I grew up in San Francisco in an area where the majority of residents had lives there for generations. In my building all of my neighbors were older than my parents and a few were even older than my grandparents. Mrs. Garcia was a woman who lived in the apartment under us. She was in her 90s and had lost most of her hearing by the time I was eight…
Going To Florida We went to Florida on the 30th of April. My mom, step dad, and my best friend Sasha came. Sasha has brown hair, brown eyes, and she’s 14 years old. I was 13 at the time. As soon as we got to our hotel we unpacked.…
Journey to Florida I woke up with the glowing sun shining in my face and I realized it was time. I had been waiting for this since the first time my sister asked me to go with her, about four months ago. My sister, our friends, and I piled up in the van and we took off. It was the beginning of our journey to Panama City Beach Florida.…
It was December 26,2014 and we were on our way to Florida! It was a two day trip we went through the so many states. When we finally got to Florida we were in Clear Water beach we looked for a hotel and we finally found one…
Orlando Trip This summer, I went on a trip to Orlando, Florida with the Youth Group of First Baptist Church Oxford. My friend David was the only person that went on the trip that was in my grade. Most of the people that went with us on this trip were juniors and seniors as well as a few people that were going to Ole Miss. This was one of the best trips I had been on in a very long time and a very good life experience for me.…
I was in a deep sleep dreaming about my life until BOOM, my mom came in and told me to wake up. I was walking to the bathroom like a zombie to the bathroom brushing my teeth, taking a shower, and changing my clothes. We had to get to the airport as quickly as possible, because our flight leaves at five o’clock in the morning. Even though I was mad doing this I still enjoyed it because we were on our way to Florida!!This is great practice because one day I will have to do this again.…
Growing up, I have met a lot of people, had a lot of experiences and memories. Some were enjoyable, fun, and some were stressful, but my favorite memory was coming to America. Moving from Africa to America made me a better person and taught me to understand people better. It gave me opportunities to change my lifestyle, be around others that are different from me, and expand my education. One memory that tops all memories was coming to the United States.…
Florida During summer vacation, in the year 2011 my family and I went on a trip to Florida to meet up with some of our relatives. This was my first time ever going to Florida and I was really excited to go. But one of us had to stay home and take care of our pets, so my dad stayed home to take care of them. It took about half a day for us to get ready to go and like 4 or 5 hours until we were out of Michigan. My brothers and I would stay up all night to see how cool the city looked at night.…
Over the summer I went on a great vacation with my family. My entire family flew from Denver to Florida. We took a cruise from Florida to the Bahamas and back to Florida again. After the cruise our vacation continued at Universal Studios in Orlando Florida. It was a fun filled vacation and a great cruise filled with lots of fun activities.…
This past summer I was accepted into a volunteer program in La Alberca, Spain. There, I spent 10 days with Spanish students in my age range improving their english communication skills. Receiving the confirmation for this experience excited me but in the rear of my mind lived a huge fear of flying then living across the world for two weeks without my mother. Conquering the fear of traveling alone to a foreign country and having the experience volunteering was both an obstacle and enlightening experience in my life and has influenced my growth into young adulthood.…
Three days later, my sister, my brother, my mom and I were boarding a plane headed to Orlando.…
From smelling the salty waters by the Florida Keys, seeing all of the green from the stems of green beans growing, the flavor of the freshest eggs you could get from the coop in the backyard, to the avocado tree growing in the backyard, my trip to Florida had become one of the greatest life experiences I’ve had yet. Visiting Florida taught me many skills on being independent, mentally, and how easy and fun it is just to be to yourself sometimes. It all started Christmas eve when I got home to find my presents from “Santa” there before we even went to bed. My parents had planned on taking a vacation to Florida for Christmas break to see my grandparents, but we were unable to also get my parents there.…
Out of all the trips I’ve been on, the Disney Cruise trip was the absolute best. The ship was Halloween themed so there were bright orange pumpkins everywhere, the characters from Disney were even dressed up and they also played spooky Halloween music. My family and I went at the beginning in October of 2016. We stayed at Cocoa Beach for a night, Disney Cruise and then went to Sea World for a day. We went straight to Seaworld after we got off the ship.…
We ran as fast as we could to get on the plane. We ended up getting on the plane, and I was very relieved. All I wanted to do was leave California and get to Hawaii, but then I remembered we had five more hours on the plane, the time would be changing again, and because the time was different, I was…
