In small-town Mississippi, I was always taught that being Conservative was the only way to be and that thinking any other way would go completely against my religion. The guidelines for this assignment were to select and tell the story of an argument that has shaped me into the person that I am today. I chose to share my struggle of being different in my family of extremely involved parents and athletic brothers.
