Personal Narrative: Big Bear

There was one day I was at my friends house in the middle on December. My friend Jared’s family has a house in Big Bear. The date was December 20, 2015. He asks me ,” Hey nick , you wanna come with us to Big Bear for the snow and just chill up there.” Therefore I ask my mom If I could go. She says “ No, It's too close to christmas. What if you get snowed in , then you're stuck there for christmas. I said that it wasn't going to be snowing( I lied). She eventually says yes. So I walk back to my house to get my stuff for the weekend. When I get a call from Jared, he says “ Aye nick tell your mom that it is going to be snowing there.” I say “ I did.” So eventually I got my stuff, Im at his house, were waiting for my other friend to get there. …show more content…
I felt like I was in Minnesota. We stayed there for like 10 minutes. Then we hit the road again. Soon after, we arrive at his Cabin. It snowing pretty heavy. So we take off our shirts and play tackle football. It was fun and all but, after Max got sick. Next day the snow calmed down. We went snowboarding. The cash register said “ Sorry we are not taking any more snowboarders.” So we went back to the cabin and just messed around in the snow. Like, 2 hours later we went back to the snowboarding place and he gave us the OK. It was pretty cool. I fell like 10 times. So we go back to the cabin and pack up to leave. Then we turn on the news and it say, “ The roads are closed for the weekend. “ So we are stuck there for the weekend. Monday is Christmas Eve. I called my mom and told her she said, “ I told you nick.” I respond by laughing. She just says be careful and come home on Monday. We make fun of the situation we are in and just do crazy activities. Such as playing Hide and Go seek at midnight, we went zip lining and drank a lot of hot cocoa.
