They described it in a way that could be taken as an experience of Mexico that will bring back nostalgia and the true Mexican culture. I have never heard of a resturant posting a description on the experience the customer will have once they enter their restaurant. It makes it all more authentic and real. When I looked at Milissa Silva-Diaz blog I found it interesting that she noted in one of her blogs from about a year ago, that “...booming restaurant business throughout the twin cities, but no food service employees. It was extremely frustrating to have a growing business and to be short staffed”. For some reason I have never thought about that. Not a whole lot of people want to work a food service job all of their life so I can see where that may be challenging to staff her business. However, it seemed to me, and as Milissa Silva said in her blog, that there were many loyal customers. It seemed like a lot of people recognized each other, like the cash register lady knew the customer by name, giving it that home away from home feeling for immigrants.
