Personal Narrative: Basketball As A Part Of My Life

Basketball has been a part of my life as I have played it since I could remember. I was in the school’s team year after year and was even drafted for the team as high school came. However, a bike accident prior to the regional tournament took a toll on my body. The lower pelvic of my right foot was injured and could no longer withstand the stress of playing basketball. All hopes and expectations of playing in the high school team were shattered. I was inconsolably angry with myself. If I had not been curious back then, I would still be living my dream. I could not simply accept the fact that physical sports were cut off from my life. I would consult various doctors, seeking a getaway to this sore torture and surfed the internet for remedies
