31 May 2017, the day I left for Basic Military Training. I had just graduated from Harrisburg High School on the 21st, with the evening before being my big graduation/going away party. Thinking back, I knew I was pretty excited for what was to come, even with the slight nerves that were stirring in me as the date drew closer.
