Personal Narrative: Baby Photographer

Improved Essays
Carter and Heather brought in their new little bundle of joy, Cooper, for his baby photographer session in my studio. I met this family when they brought their first son into the studio for his newborn session. Sawyer is 20 months now, so that was almost two years ago. It's amazing how time flies. I love when families come back to see me!

Cooper was 15 days old on the day of his session with me, his baby photographer. He was born on March 3rd weighing 5 pounds 11 ounces. He was such a little peanut especially when seen next to his big brother, Sawyer.

Mom and Dad say that Sawyer isn't impressed with being a big brother. He's very sweet with Cooper and a little curious, but even in his shot at the studio, I could see he wasn't really into his little brother.

Neutrals will match any decor, and they'll look great on the wall with other portraits of the family, including Sawyer's prints from his newborn session.

The couple chose neutrals and soft colors like grays for his nursery, which should work perfectly with any of the photos from this session. The family shots were amazing, and I can see that taking center stage on a gallery wall in their home.

I had to use at least one prop for Cooper's session. It was the shot with the rustic, wooden crate and Cooper wearing an adorable bonnet from Riley's Mom Makes Hats. I love the hats from this vendor and use them as often as I can.

I was thrilled to see this couple and their expanding family in my studio. As a baby photographer, it's always an honor when a family is happy with their shots and return to engage my services
