We were close for about two years, but fell out for some reason. Chloe went to rehab twice during the time I was friends with her brother and he hated her for it because right after, Chloe would come out she would chug a few bottles of cough syrup as soon as she came home. It still deeply affects me because I realize death and addiction are so real. In the future, I will take this experience as a guide to watch my friends carefully, and to get them help if I see them acting as Chloe
