2.) I will try to become less shy as I was really shy in 7th grade. So this year, I will try to become better in public speaking, such as having a speech about a project and/or experiment.

3.) I will stop cramming everything in my locker and backpack and become more organize when I'm both at school and home. This is because I usually lose papers at the most important times, such as papers needed to be signed by my parents.

Reflection Over that three assignments above and the other assignments we have done over this quarter I have noticed a way of think and formating I do when starting a assignment. When starting an assignment I don't start or finish things in order I'll do the main requirements for what goes where and create how ever many pages it needs then I’ll Start the assignment in the middle where I'm doing the main most important part first. For example this project I started with the hard moments essay instead of a title screen just to get it out of the way. I've noticed I don't talk much in class, even though I used to always get in trouble in language arts and reading for talking because I hated those classes, but not speaking much in class doesn't mean I don't contribute to class. I think I contribute a good amount I volunteer for questions (Sometimes).…

It quickly went from a nice, fun, vacation to a painful, terrible, nightmare. Just about every year before school starts while my mom has meetings for teachers, my dad takes my sister and I on a small, five day trip to different places. This year, we decided to go to St Louis. Little did I know that this trip would soon turn south very, very, fast.…

Reflecting upon the years I have spent as an El Dorado High School student I thought I could offer you some advice so you can make your four years here as painless and smooth as possible. I know you have watched me late at night struggle to finish typing out the last words of an eleven page lab report and dreaded entering into the next phase of schooling; however, I hope this letter will help alleviate some of that stress and make you laugh a little, too. In High School everyone's true colors come to light and everyone grows and changes, sometimes not in a good way.…

Over the Summer I personally thought that it was going to be hard to improve on something. But honestly if you try hard enough, it’s actually quite easy. My summer goal was to have both my left split and straddle by the time school started. It seemed like a fairly easy goal to keep up with. I accomplished part of my goal over the summer.…

In the seventh grade, I faced a large transition in life. The previous year I had experienced middle school for the first time, but I would make that entrance again. I moved from Texas to North Dakota, where seventh grade was the first year of middle school. I took on those same fears and hopes that I had faced before, but in an unfamiliar place where I had no one except for family to give me support. I tried a lot of new things that year, mainly wrestling.…

Many people see their school's’ faculty as mentors; however, my elementary and middle school experience proved that not all school employees have the student’s best interest in mind. From my second grade teacher humiliating me in front of the class to my middle school principal actively reducing my academic opportunities, I faced and overcame these obstacles throughout my elementary and middle school career. The early years of a child’s education are designed to propel a student through the rest of their schooling career, however, my second grade experience became an obstacle that I overcame. In first grade I met the second grade teachers and could not wait to learn from them.…

My life has been simple in middle school, I never had trouble making friends, but it was very hard to keep a friend for a long time. I always end up fighting with my friends. I didn 't only fight my friends, I sometimes even fought people that I didn 't know who the were. I was the type of girl who always got in trouble for the stupidest thing. For example one day I was going to the bathroom and the girl in front of me slapped the door at me, but the door never hit me, I still walked up to her and said "try me one more time" as I pulled her jacket.…

In preparation last year, for my freshman year at St. John 's University, I was filled with anxiety: the kind that fills you with anticipation, but also leaves you imagining the worst. I was excited to immerse myself into my courses, and gain enlightenment, and satisfied my curiosity. I was looking forward to meeting my professors, who I expected to fully sate my hunger to learn, and also leave me wanting to further investigate my passions, both known and unknown. Not to mention, I would be studying in New York - a bustling place, characteristically different, and refreshing compared to my home state of Maryland. I was faced with an opportunity to surround myself with different minds and cultures, and hopefully grow as an individual, from all that I would experience, and hopefully coming into my own.…
