I sprinted onto the wake board and the boat zoomed into drive. My dad asked,”Are you ready?”.I replied,”I don’t know about this.”.Right when I said that the boat started to move!I was going so fast and I just couldn’t hold on anymore I let go off the straps on the wake board and I just flew into the freezing, gross water.I yelled out to see if my dad would turn the boat around but of course he didn't. We all decide to pull over and go into the dunes and park up beside this great big lake we found. Me and all of the other bikes and quads had a rip around the dunes, Which ended up with my little brother crashing in a small patch of quicksand. With a bit of muscle we managed to wrestle his bike out. With the sun rapidly running away from us, it was time to head back home. We were all racing, trying to get home, me and one other bro were doing some sick wheelies on our bikes, I was amping with adrenaline from all the wheelies and the jumps off the sides of the dunes also cracking small whips of the dunes, with all of this being done only under the guidance of the moonlight.…

Traumatic Laceration The sun was high in the sky on a mid summer day and my mom had just cooked me a juicy hamburger with a side of seasoned home fries. An hour later, I decided to go paddleboarding on Annabessacook Lake to burn off all the greasy fries. My plan was to be out on the water for about an hour and be back at my camp before sunset so my mom wouldn’t worry about a boat hitting me in the dark.…

At a younger age, I would say I believed that I can only trust myself and my mother, this is because as a little kid my mom would always tell me that there are bad people in the world and that giving them any information about anything can be very harmful. But as I grew up and realized what was actually happening in my country I knew there were millions of others that were suffering against the “bad people” and we could only do something about it if the whole community came together to help. It was at that time when I was about 25, when I started to put some effort into trying to establish more just conditions within my country especially after the implication of extremely high food prices. This is when I started my first strike involving my…
