One night at 8:30 pm in September of 2016 in Plain City, Ohio, I am 11 years old and the third oldest of 4, my sister Ciara she is 15 and the second oldest of 4 kids. Well we were making apple crisp in our kitchen. Our kitchen is a medium-sized kitchen, with 3-4 sets of wooden cabinets, we have a big white whirlpool fridge, also a white whirlpool microwave, and a white toaster. We were making apple crisp with a big white whirlpool oven. Ciara asked me, “Skylar, could you make the dry mix for the apple crisp?” I answered back with a positive attitude, “Yes, of course.” So I was getting the ingredients out for the dry mix, I noticed that we didn’t have cinnamon. We got out of my mom’s car got on the porch and waited till my mom unlocked the door. When she unlocked the door, I stormed in with the cinnamon(not because I’m angry, but because I want the apple crisp to be done.) I didn’t want to add the cinnamon till Ciara was done cutting up apples, but she still had 3 more red apples to cut up into tiny pieces. So I went into the livingroom to watch T.V there was a Big Bang Theory Marathon I watched for about 15 minutes then I fell asleep and took a little nap. I woke up and I knew that I need to add the cinnamon, so I walked into our kitchen but Ciara already put the apple crisp in the oven. 15-20 minutes had passed, so Ciara took the apple crisp out of the oven, Ciara and I got all the bowls, cups, and spoons out. But Ciara wanted to set the table, so she did. Ciara didn’t even know that I had forgotten the cinnamon. When Ciara was setting the bowls she had remembered that we had gotten vanilla bean ice-cream, Ciara added the ice-cream to make it better. Ciara had all the bowls, cups, and spoons out on the table ready to go. Then we had the apple crisp, I personally thought it would taste better than it actually did, it tasted a bit umm gross because there was no cinnamon. We forgot CINNAMON!!
