It inspires a strong realization of how fortunate we are to live on this beautiful planet and just how vulnerable it is. Antarctica truly is the last frontier, no country owns it; it’s bound by the Antarctic Treaty that dedicates this vast and frozen land to the sole purpose of Science and Discovery. I find that the journey for knowledge and the disseminating of facts and information that enlighten our world to better our civilization is as beautiful and intriguing as the majestic mountain landscapes that surround me.
