“Even though we've changed and we're all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we'll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we're not all still friends” (ThinkExist.com). Through the ups and downs in life, the twists and turns certain things will remain steady. Friends may not always be around, family may not always be around, but occasionally there will be someone who sticks around no matter what.

Learning to do things in a new way may seem nearly impossible; however, with people in life to help get through these transformations, occurrences get easier. I consider myself lucky as I had two wonderful friends in my life that helped me every step of the way, even as I was losing friends and family, I always knew I could count on them to be there for me, no matter what the situation was, or the time of day. Having those two people in my life through all the changes helped me adjust and move on with my life. The experiences I have gone through have led to many changes in my own life. One of these experiences that changed my life was my parents getting divorced. With the divorce my mom, brother, and I moved into a new house, away from our dad. Granted, we still live in the same town and I do go to the same school, I still had to adjust to the new situation that was very foreign to me. Not seeing my dad as often, my mom getting a new boyfriend, whose family was forced upon my brother and me, and even having more …show more content…
This gave both of us more freedom, which was slightly difficult to get used to. At the same time, however, having this amount of freedom is making me more prepared for when I go off to college and start my own life. I had to adjust to making sure I was home at a reasonable hour and getting my homework done without anyone forcing me to do it.
Growing up, many changes in my life have taken place. Moving around from state to state at a young age, starting school, having a baby brother, my parents getting divorced, and now getting ready to start a new aspect of my life with going to college. Thinking about it makes me realize that many changes have happened in everyone’s life. These changes may be different for everyone or even the same for some people. These changes have many impacts on everyone’s lives. Think about what these are and who the people were who help adapt to

Life is full of opportunities and experiences. Sometimes to explore those opportunities or experiences it is necessary to have changes in our lives. For many people a change can be difficult because they like the way they live their life, but for other people it can be exciting because they feel tired of doing the same routine every day. I experienced a change when I moved to the United States. It was a difficult change for me, but at the same time I was excited to explore new opportunities in my life.…

Beginning junior year, I occupied myself with the most constructive investment in my life. My daily routine was bland, but oddly hailed as the ultimate path to victory. I was learning in school, but the learning lacked meaning. Plot lines and mathematical formulas were unavailing ideas, which I tepidly regurgitated. I concluded that a life permeated with monotonous toil was not worth celebrating on my day of judgment.…

I could relate to with this word because there was a time where I felt I was going through it and experiencing a sympathetic division. It was Sunday in the afternoon and my little brother, who at the time is ten years old, was having his soccer game take place. Crowds around the field were very tense because of the two teams being big rivals. As well as the crowds be tensed up so were the players with each other. While the game went by there were many times in which the players were having conflicts with each other, causing the anger around everyone to increase.…

As I started the planning process for essay one racking my brain for any incidents that had occurred in my life worth writing about it became clear that I have lived a very mundane life. No crazy vacations, no crazy stories, just the normal girl meets boy, they start a family and lived ever after. I chose my topic, the story of my best friend, a piece of me. I was very scared to write about her. It is just as much her story as it is mine.…

Interestingly, this process has been around since the beginning of man and is an essential part of being human. When I was a child, my family would have been considered a traditional family – my father worked, my mother stayed home with my older brother and me, we lived in a house and could pay our bills. The social hierarchy of my family was very complex – my mother usually had a say in everything and during the day I thought of her as the head of the household. However, when my father came home he was the head of the household. Around my 13th birthday, though, my family hierarch changed because my parents got divorced.…

I vividly remember the first day of sixth grade; I looked at my schedule just “knowing” I would switch out of the “Odyssey of the Mind” class, especially since I had never even heard of it before. I had no idea that exactly two years later I would be the one standing in the middle of the Iowa University stadium, performing in front of hundreds of other passionate competitors from over a hundred countries around the world. I have always been good at painting, drawing, and coming up with witty answers to teacher's questions. However, only a few other students understood what I was saying. I was never able to put my creative skills to good use, besides the rare once-a-quarter projects we would have.…

I rode the bus every day in middle school and would interact with a few people who also lived in my neighborhood. They were in no way my friends, but the circumstances had left us stuck on a bus for 30 minutes with a different group of students who normally wouldn't interact. One girl was very religious and we would eventually ease into a logical debate about religion. Every afternoon as we rode from the school into our old neighborhood. I am a very confrontational person, and when I feel as if one side is understated in an argument, and then I will surely be a member of that side.…
