The day felt like it was going to be a good day. Today our father wakes us up at 6 a.m. I asked dad why he was waking us up so early. Dad says today was going to be a hot so we were going to Wildwood. I wake up, take a shower and get dressed. Then dad takes a shower and he gets dressed. So he tells us we have 15 minutes to get everything ready because it was going to be a 2 hour drive. My brother and I get our stuff ready and put it in the car. Dad asks if we are ready. We are. We get inside the car and wait for dad. Dad comes out the house and locks the door behind him and starts to check the doors and windows to see if everything is secure. “Good to go.” he said.
