In my earlier years of school, I dreaded going to school and I wasn’t skilled in public speaking. I had a terribly hard time talking to new people and often avoided social situations. These being among the traits many consider unfavorable, I passed up on great opportunities that I had been given due to their social aspect and the potential for me to embarrass myself.
