Education in general has taken a more one-to-one approach. All of my assignments are posted online through Blackboard, completed on Google Drive, and submitted through Blackboard. I do use a planner but I also use an online planner where I usually end up checking what’s due. Also, my alarm clock and regular clock is my phone. I do own a standard alarm clock but I haven’t used it once since being in college and it’s easier to just pull out my phone instead of looking for a clock. I spent approximately sixteen hours in the matter of three days surfing the internet recreationally. That is not including the time I spent doing homework. That’s almost a whole day. I could have spent that sixteen hours studying, or reading a book, or just anything more productive. Clearly, I haven’t mastered the skill of time management. I definitely think I need to make a conscious effort to cut back. This semester in particular, I feel like I’ve been losing touch with a lot of friends, but that could be because I spend too much time talking to them through technology rather than face to face. I also could spend that time joining a club as I don’t feel like I’ve made the most of my time here at SLU. I haven’t really connected with a lot of people here and now I know one of the reasons
