Personal Narrative Analysis

The year is 2050. Steve is now twelve and has to take his survivalist test. It is a test to test their skills to protect Hawaii from the Russians. He is in Honolulu, Hawaii and they will be tested on endurance, and other military skills. The events were about to start and Steve went looked at his acrotec to see who his partner would be. He found his name on the list and his partner was, OH NO, it was Jacob his arch nemesis. Steve found Jacob and said, “ Let's put everything behind us so we can succeed.” “Why? I don’t care if I make it into the army or not,” Jacob said in a retortable voice. Their acrotecs buzzed and the events came on the screen, a stealth paintball match and they had to survive a night in the jungle. As the switch was happening Steve kicked the Russian and he fell. They then started to run.
They ran as fast as they could for half an hour. Then they remembered they had to get back to camp to be found. It started to pour so they found shelter in a cave. They gathered some things to make weapons just in case. They built a fire for warmth and began to plan. “We will leave in fifteen hours to make it back in time to catch our ride to safety,” Steve said. “Ok. By the way thanks for saving me back there, and I really mean it. I also didn’t mean anything else I said to you. I have always just been jealous of you since you have always been the best at everything.” “Apology accepted. So you get some rest and I’ll stay watch. Then we can switch.” Sixteen hours later.
