In the Eighth Grade, I was coming to terms with a part of me that I kept a secret for a while. It was hard because I felt alone and did not know if I could go to anyone, because I was scared about how I felt alone and did not know if I could go to anyone, because I was scared about how my family members would react. Things changed for me one day when I had to tell my sister about my girlfriend. Before the event of me coming out took place, my mother found out that I was in a relationship with someone, due to a text that appeared on my cell phone. She questioned me about the text before giving me an ultimatum of, "you tell me or your sister," and I decided to tell my sister. I knew that out of the two she was the best person to confide
