There were times when the school system stated they would provide a service but it was later determined that the service was not available. Ultimately, the school system provided the lease support services. Having a child with a disability has affected the family positively by making them more understanding and aware of other children with disabilities. In school we learn that evolution occurs overtime within living organisms. I took this theory into my own hands as I sought out to transform my life into the one I knew I deserved, theone that would be adapt to any situation and hardship, and most importantly the one in which I knew I would leave a legacy behind. Humans inherit 46 chromosomes from their parents, but I procured much more than a genetic sequence: a thirst for greatness, a hunger for improvement, and unremitting devotion which have served as a fundamental blueprint throughout my academiccareer. My father, an alcoholic who never went to college and walked out on an early age, taughtme to explore the world with critical eyes, constantly seeking to learn more and explore more. My mother an OBGYN was pinned into a position in which she had to choose between sticking with her four…
