An Astronomical Athlete Every success story ever chronicled started with a dream, a huge gargantuan dream that seemed entirely unobtainable. The 1996 bronze medal Olympian, Floyd “Money” Mayweather, sought the title of the greatest professional boxer of all time. He achieved his goal by keeping an unblemished record of forty-nine fights with forty-nine wins, twenty-six by way of knockout, and zero losses (“Floyd Mayweather Jr..”). My own dreams are of no less stature in fact, I intend to achieve more. Following in the footsteps of my father I will join the United States Air Force becoming the most decorated pilot in the history. After achieving such fame, I will become the first astronaut to step foot on Mars. I will be known as the first man on Mars. My journey to Mars will be possible because of Nasa’s newest endeavor, the “Space Launch System” (Dunbar). The Space Launch System is, in simple terms, a large rocket. So large in fact, that it will carry the “Orion” attached to its’ nose and disconnect once deep space is reached, giving the Orion spacecraft the propulsion needed to reach it destination – Mars (Dunbar). As the first man on the moon, it will be my duty to establish a colony, claiming a piece of outer space for America. However, looking back to the American Revolution, colonization has never out well for the colonies. Therefore, it will be my duty to lead the people of Mars in a revolution to establish independence and autonomy from Earth. As the leader of the revolution it is only natural that the people of Mars will look to me for leadership, and thus in the aftermath of the revolution I will become the supreme leader of
