The five hours drive in Pensacola was the longest five hours drive in all the traveling I’ve done. When my dad was driving to Pensacola I felt nervous doing to much thinking but my dad gave me encouragement saying just do me. My games in Pensacola were bad to me because I didn’t have any points, I think I’m the only one on my team who had zero points the whole weekend. I barely had any playing time even when I did a good job on both ends of the court. Most people say it’s not all about points but it is about points because how can you win with zero points it’s impossible.…

We went shopping, had barbecues, met people, went to church, and visited some cities such as Dallas, Arlington, El Paso, Ruidoso, and Alamogordo. One of the first things I remember about going on that trip is looking down at my feet and thinking that I would die if I fell. I was nine and very light-headed at the time. It was the winter of 2009 and one of the first times I had ever gone to Colorado. The drive there took about 6 hours from our house so you can imagine my excitement at finally getting out of the car as an inpatient nine-year-old. We were renting a small two story log cabin with a hot tub on the second- floor balcony from a family that had a winter home somewhere in Florida.…

What is in Oklahoma? Is there even anything to do in Oklahoma? Why would anyone want to go there? If I was asked these questions a year ago my response would carelessly be: Absolutely nothing, nope, and I am not sure. Now, if I was asked, I would say that it is straightforwardly one of the utmost beautiful states I have ever perceived.…

There, we tramped through variety stores, and we watched Vacation in a wicked movie theater. Then, we rode a shuttle to my cousin’s beautiful wedding and elegant reception. The reception was full of caterers, amazing food, a drink bar, desserts, and a lot of other amazing stuff.…

The clock above my head ticks slowly, the sound ever increasing as the minutes pass by; tick, tick, tick. I normally do not notice the time while I work, usually I am the energizer bunny of workers, in early, out late, always working, but that day was different. I had a date; a first date to be exact. Finally the time has come for me to go home; I step out into the warm Vegas air.…

I was smiling the whole time as the skin around my neck was being ripped off. Well I wasn’t actually smiling and as brutal as I made it sound, it wasn’t as horrific an event now that I look back on it. The incident occurred while I was on Spring Break during my freshman year in high school. My family and I were vacationing in Gatlinburg, Tennessee;which if I might add we’ve been there about eight times since I was seven years old. I remember clearly that day down to the exact temperature.…
